Aimee and Peter

Aimee and Peter had a fun-filled wedding day. Here are some of the popular images from everyone in the studio:

Aimee’s ladies helping her get the dress just right:

Two of my favourite images as Aimee reads the letter Peter wrote her before she sees him:

Nadine and Margit then left with the bridal party for some fun portrait shots:

Congratulations Aimee and Peter on your special day

Eileen & Kyle tie the knot on the other side of the world

Eileen and Kyle wanted their wedding to be an intimate affair - just about the two of them. So they flew all the way to Sydney from the U.S!

The gorgeous couple:

The two really made this special day just about their union, ensuring it reflected who they were. It was intimate, sweet and relaxed.

We went to the water and got some great shots

The sun had come out after weeks of rain for them - and everything was so lush and green

And the cutest - we found a lil boat and they hopped in! I love the rustic colour of the boat with their feet in focus

Yael and Yve 11-11-11

Yael and Yve celebrated their special day in a way that truly reflected their personalities, warmth, laid-back and fun. The ceremony was by the water in Rose Bay, with a gorgeous view of the city in the background.

How cute is their checklist?

It was such a warm day and the water was so clear. I love this shot with the city in the background

Congrats to you both Yael and Yve!

An afternoon with Eden

This week Nadine took Eden out to Centennial Park and did a stylised shoot. We had a couple of dress changes as there was so much we wanted to do with the gorgeous girl.

It was a beautiful evening when we took Bodrey’s boy to the shoot with us.

He is full of energy and the cutest boy ever. It’s so great to see him running around, enjoying himself.

A Hunter Valley Wedding

Last Friday we were lucky enough to jump in the car and drive to Hunter Valley for the wedding of Claire and Trent.

On the two hour drive we were giddy with excitement - and it didn’t help that the drive was so scenic! We wanted to hop out the car at every turn to take photos (“Look! Cows!”; “Horses!”) but with a wedding to get to we would have to leave that to another day..

We started off at Trent’s house, I love that as we turned into his street we saw this sign:

Trent getting ready:

I love the shot from outside peeking in:

And then we made our way to Claire’s place:

I love this shot of Claire writing a letter to her bridesmaid and best friend Nicole - even an hour before the ceremony she made sure to thank everyone.

The three mirrors were hard to work around with everyone inside helping Claire- here is one with just our beautiful bride.

This veil is especially special to Claire and her family. Her mother wore it at her wedding, then used it over Claire’s crib when she was a baby. Here is a photo of Claire with the veil, exactly 32 years and 1 day after her parent’s wedding.

The ceremony was outside with friends and family framed by the trees - This shot of the sun’s rays on the couple is one of my favourites. It evokes a sense of nostalgia and peacefulness.

Portrait shoots in the gorgeous Hunter Valley - we were so lucky to have the ceremony next to a little chapel and vineyard.

I love this black and white photo - it evokes so much peacefulness I wish for the couple.
And I love how the next shot the branches frame the couple perfectly.

Thanks for choosing us Claire and Trent - we had a wonderful time shooting your wedding!

Congrats Romy and Adam

Romy and Adam’s wedding was a true celebration, full of joy and laughter. It was clear that these two have great friends and family to celebrate their day with, with Adam having an army of 13 groomsmen with him!

Here are a couple of shots of Adam in the morning with the boys

And Romy looking stunning

I love this shot of Romy

The ceremony

We then made our way to Balmoral and got some lovely shots by the rocks

Margit took a great picture of the team at work

This moment caught in time with Adam, Romy and her sister

And then the real fun began - I love these two shots together with Romy’s priceless expression!

Spring in the air and a fresh new website

Spring time evokes ideas of rebirth, renewal and transformation. It brings us out of hibernation and into a season of renewed energy. Coincidentally, Nadine Saacks Photography has gone through its own transformation, with a fresh website and a new blog to share our work with friends, family and clients.

For the first blog I am so excited to give you all a sneak peek of Rachel and Peter’s wedding. The beautiful couple were so relaxed on their special day, and even though the skies opened and the winds took over, both Rach and Peter remained genuinely smiley, a true testament to who they are.
